I’ve been a Christ follower since I was 13 years old.  My passion is helping believers discover what it means to become a disciple of Jesus.  This blog shares my story of becoming a disciple, along with my thoughts regarding discipleship.

While I understand that many people love to debate all aspects of the Christian faith, this blog is not intended for such a debate.  Rather, it aims to inspire, challenge, and hold Christ-followers accountable to becoming a disciple of Jesus.  While I can’t promise to have all the answers, I do promise to be truthful regarding both my insights and short-comings.  I’m absolutely not perfect.  However, I have come to realize that nothing is more important than following Jesus every moment of everyday.  I will make no apologies regarding that fact.

I will also write about other topics that I find interesting (for me that usually revolve around sports, life, history, and marriage!).  I hope to take chances.  Being a disciple of Jesus isn’t boring nor should it be just a segment of our life.  He should come into our consideration when we are with the guys at the ballgame, drinking a glass (or two!) of wine with our wives, and every waking second on the job! Therefore I pray that this blog is refreshing in that it is entirely honest.  I don’t want to be a pretender.  I am a sinner who is trying to figure out how to live with Jesus in this world.  I sometimes overvalue success, money, good looks, etc.  I constantly need grace.  But I believe there is ample reason and proof to trust the Bible completely.  Jesus is the way.

For those interested, I was born in 1981, currently work in the family plastics business, and am married to my loving wife Sarah, who has a rock-solid faith and is my soul mate.  Without her encouragement, I would not write this blog.
